Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Details Leak Once Again

Just ahead of the launch, the smartphone's details leak once again.

Mi Note 2 has been surfacing every now and then in the rumour mill - sometime with a dual edge display or sometime, with a flexible display! But what will the much rumoured smartphone actually behold for us?

Xiaomi has an event scheduled for Oct 25 where it is announced that all details pertaining to Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be revealed officially. However, before that, there seems to be one more leak regarding the smartphone.

This time, presentation slides that were prepared for the upcoming event, seems to have been leaked on Weibo. This means that the information is more likely going to be true to its fact.

First spotted by PhoneArena, the recent leak hint us at a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with Force Touch technology, which is similar to the one that can be found on iPhone 6s. Along side this, the smartphone seems to be powered by a 64 bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, while users get to experience the device in two variants: 4G RAM / 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM.

The recent leak also claims that the smartphone can sport a dual camera setup, which was pretty much how the smartphone has been speculated for a while now. While the first sensor is expected to be a 23 MP Sony IMX318 sensor, the second one will more likely be a 12 MP Sony IMX378 sensor. The front camera with sport an 8 MP sensor.

Powering all these features, the smartphone is expected to come with a 4,100 mAh battery supported by Quick Charge technology.

Other features include NFC, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated under the display, and most interestingly, the slides show an iris scanner in the smartphone.

With much curiosity leaking over with this new leak, we will have curb it and wait until the company actually announces on Oct 25.
