Huawei Launches The Honor 8 For Rs 30,000

The handset comes with a peculiar dual-camera setup.

Announced back in July, the Honor 8 has made its way to India. Much like the Honor 6 Plus, this handset comes with a 12-megapixel dual camera setup. While iPhone 7 Plus is yet to take full advantage of its two lenses, Honor uses the camera assembly to enable users to play with depth of field even after clicking the photograph.

The phone sports a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS screen. The display glass is slightly curved for seamless swiping experience. The handset is powered by company's own Kirin 950 chip. The Honor 8 comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Of course, there's a microSD card slot that supports up to additional 128 GB storage. That's a hybrid slot though, so you can either use it for additional storage or a secondary SIM. In addition to the peculiar 12-megapixel cameras at the back, the Honor 8 features an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Other noteworthy features include an Infrared blaster and a fingerprint sensor. On the software front, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Honor 8 runs company's EMUI 4.1 on top. The other features include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, NFC, and 3000 mAh battery with fast charging.
