Huawei To Launch Honor 8 Today

We may expect the base model to be priced at around INR 20,000 and the sale may start soon!

 

Honor by Huawei seems to be all set to launch its new smartphone, the Honor 8, in India on Wednesday. As we have already seen earlier, the highlight of the new smartphone is its dual rear camera setup.

Speaking about the launch, the event is scheduled to begin in a while, from the time this story was written. While the company has also announced that it would be revealing a couple of other devices as well, at the event, we are still not clear as to what these devices would be.

While we shall update soon after the launch, here's a recall about the Honor 8 smartphone that shall be launched today.

The device was originally launched in China in July, this year, and comes with a 5.2 inch FHD LTPS LCD display, with a 1.8 GHz octa core Kirin 950 processor, dual rear camera setup, two 12 MP camera sensor module in the rear, and an 8 MP camera on the front for selfies. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the real panel.

Along with this, the device comes in 3 variant - 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM, and 4 GB RAM  and 64 GB ROM. However, we still have no clue on which variants will be launched in India. But, according to price tags we saw in China, we can expect the basic model to be available for around INR 20,000 price range.
