Skype For iOS App Gets Integrated With Siri

The new update also bring CallKit support which means that, you can now get Skype notifications just like regular calls when you are using CarPlay.

 

Every app is integrating Siri for it's iOS nowadays, and here's an update for Skype for iOS app that comes with such another integration with Siri.

According to the Skype announcement, this is one of the app's major updates on the iOS platform bringing a couple of new features and optimizations for iOS users.

Speaking about the new features, the new update brings its users improvements in the contact information, while also giving them CallKit support and Siri integration.

So, how would Siri help you out in Siri? Well, while it is pretty much self explanatory, here is how we put it out - when you want to place a call, you can just say "Hey Siri, Call (Person's Name)", and boom, the call is placed.

Also, the update with CallKit support, allows users to place and receive Skype calls within the iOS 10 just like how they would with a normal call. Also, because of this update, users can also answer Skype calls while they are using CarPlay, while in the past, it was not the same.
