LYF Expands Its Elements Collection With The Launch Of Wind 5

The smartphone comes with a price tag of INR 6,599, but not much of competitive features.

 

Reliance Jio has recently launched its latest installment in the Elements Collection range, the Wind 5.

The smartphone priced at INR 6,599 and it comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display screen and also supports USB OTG.

In the camera department, the smartphone comes equipped with an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front sensors with smart camera modes such as HDR, Gesture capture, Multi angle view mode, Continuous Shots (up to 99), Panorama mode and time lapse videos to unleash your creativity.

The Wind 5 comes powered by a 64 bit quad-core processor coupled with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Also, the smartphone comes with a not so impressive 2,000 mAh battery, which somehow seems to be a big let down, especially with new smartphones like Swipe Elite Plus coming out with disruptive features for a great deal of price.

However, speaking about the device, Wind 5 comes with VoLTE support making it yet another decent smartphone in the market.

With the launch of this smartphone, the LYF handsets are now claimed to be available in almost every segment from INR 5,599 to INR 19,499.
