WhatsApp Update Allows Users To Chat In Urdu And Bengali

The new update also generates a preview of the URL being shared, which seems to be a pretty good feature.

WhatsApp has recently rolled out an update which allows users to chat in Urdu and Bengali languages.

The latest version 2.12.367 brings along a couple of other features like allowing users to mark chats as unread or read and rich preview which generates a preview of the URL being shared.

However, users will have an option to choose whether to share the preview or not.

Along with this, the latest WhatsApp update brings in other changes like allowing users to change the colour of emojis by just pressing a little longer.

The latest  update also brings with it the ability to star a message by just tapping and holding on it in a chat. This helps users to easily find them later when required. This feature works much like a bookmark.

Also, the update brings in support for Android direct share which is compatible with Android 6.0 and above.

This new feature allows users to quickly choose a specific chat while content is being shared from other apps.

To recall, last month, WhatsApp had rolled out update which allowed users to backup conversations, photos and videos to Google Drive.
