Lenovo ZuK Z1
Price: Rs 13,500
Lenovo's ZuK Z1 is a an impressive handset for the price. Although the handset is made of plastic, it has a nice heft to it. A metal-frame is a nice touch that also provides sturdiness to the handset. The phone has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chipset. Although slightly dates, that's one hell of a powerful chip. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. In the photography department, you get a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s IMX214 Exmor RS sensor. It is also one of the few budget phones to feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). For selfie addicts, there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. There’s a fingerprint sensor, two nano SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, and 4100 mAh battery with fast charging. On the software front, you get Cyanogen 12.1 OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. What more can you ask for Rs 13,500?

If you are a performance freak, the Z2 Plus is the best phone you can buy. It comes with a power-packed Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. This particular variant offers 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It does not disappoint in the screen department either. You get a 5-inch Full HD display that can match most flagships. The 13-megapixel camera offers EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). For those not in the know, EIS is nowhere as good as proper Optical Image Stabilisation. The Z2 Plus features the fingerprint scanner, Other specifications include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, and 3500 mAh battery. On the software side of things, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lenovo's highly customised skin.

If you are looking for a classy and compact phone, your search ends here. The iPhone 5S is still considered as the best looking iPhone ever by many Apple fans. The first touchscreen phone to ship with a fingerprint sensor is powered by the A7 chipset, which is quite outdated now. However, you should not have much problem performing daily tasks. In the photography department, the iPhone 5S comes with an 8-megapixel camera that can take some good pictures. The phone's 4-inch screen has pixel density of 325 ppi. More importantly, for 15.5k, you get the bragging rights of owning an iPhone.
