Gionee Elife E7 To Get KitKat Update In March

The Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is all set to roll out the Android KitKat update for its Elife E7 handsets sometime in March 2015.
 
The update is expected to bring in several key improvements for the smartphone such as tweaked user interface offering a translucent menu bar located at the bottom of the screen and new transition effects when you open the app launcher.
 
The new KitKat update will be enhancing user experience with the new dialler with caller ID, unified Hangouts messaging apps, smarter Google Now integration, better support for cloud printing, Chrome WebView, enhanced support for connectivity options, better accessibility options and screen recording.
 
The screen recording update seems to be a great feature out of all for those especially with a keep interest in making review videos of games or apps and upload to Youtube.
 
Also, its worth noting that apart from KitKat updates, the users will also get updates in the company's very own UI Amigo.
 
However, while many of the players in the current mobile scenario are rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update to their devices, the KitKat update has already become out-of-date. Yet, this seems to be a great news for the Gionee Elife E7 users.
 
Also, To remind you, the company had last year rolled out the update to its Elife E7 Mini handsets. However, it was not through OTA but the handsets were to be taken to authorized service centres and get the update installed.
