Kodak Launches Android Tablets; Joins Hands With Archos

The company has announced two variants — one being 7 inch device and another 10 inch tablet with 2,500 mAh and 6,000 mAh battery respectively.

Former photo company Kodak seems to be slowly diving into the smartphones and tablets segment. While the company had launched Kodak Ektra smartphone earlier this year, two new Android tablets (Kodak Tablet 7 and Kodak Tablet 10) which are manufactured, sold, and distributed by Archos have been officially announced now.

Both these new tablets come with MediaTek MTK8321 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with 1 GB RAM. While 7 inch tablet comes with a 16 GB ROM, the 10 inch variant features a 32 GB of internal storage. Users also get a micro SD card slot supporting up to 64 GB.

Moving further, both these tablets come with 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP front facing sensor. And, as far as editing photos and videos are concerned, both these new tablets come with reinstalled Cyberlink apps. They also come with dual SIM slots and support other connectivity options including WiFi and Bluetooth.

Lastly, the 7 inch Kodak tablet is expected to come with a 2,500 mAh battery while the 10.1 inch device would be featuring a 6,000 mAh battery.

Having said this, both these Kodak tablets are expected to hit the shelves by the end of June with price tags of EUR 79.99 for 7 inch variant and EUR 119.99 for 10 inch device.
