Five Xiaomi Smart Devices We May Love In India

With the launch of Xiaomi's smart Mi TV 3S that comes with artificial intelligence, we have a couple of products from the Chinese tech giant that are quite smart, but yet to reach the Indian market.

Well, we all know that India is one of the prominent markets for Xiaomi and that can be kind of easily proven by seeing the smartphones they launch in the country. And, to be honest, most of us like them too.

So, here is a list of 5 smart products by Xiaomi that are up and running in China, and we haven't yet seen them here in India, but would definitely love to!

1. Mijia Mosquito Repeller

Combating mosquitoes is a pretty tedious task for almost every Indian, especially after 6 PM. And, to wipe them off, Xiaomi launched a portable mosquito repeller in June this year, which costs around USD 4 and works by simply connecting it to a powerbank! Yup, it's that portable! However, it is worth noting that this mosquito repeller uses a mosquito mat to ward off mosquitoes. We would definitely need it over here.

2. Mi Rice Cooker

We Indians love rice, and in-fact it is a staple diet in many parts of the country, especially down South! Xiaomi's Mi Rice Cooker is definitely one of the smartest of such type available in the market and we need it in India! Though we have a number of electric rice cookers over here, none of them can scan the pack of rice and detect the type of rice and control the cooking methodology accordingly, just like how a Mi Rice Cooker would do. Now, that's smart enough right? We can get it for around INR 12 - 15,000 probably.

3. Ninebot Mini

I know, when we see the pictures of such sweet and adorable looking self-balancing scooter, one thing that comes in our mind is - would it actually be apt for the potholes we have here? Well, I don't know about that yet. But, this can definitely be a solution for the traffic problem in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. While this Segway-type scooter can travel at around 16 km per hour, one can travel up to 22 km on a single charge. And guess what, if this is launched in India, we can probably swoosh around between office and home in a matter of minutes on the footpath (provided that they are in proper condition!) and also at around just INR 20 - 22,000.

4. Li Ning Smart Shoes

When we can have a smart band around our wrist that can calculate the steps taken, calories burnt and other fitness data, and share them with our smartphone, we would definitely love to have a pair of smart sports shoes. However, this pair of smart shoes has been developed by Xiaomi in partnership with Li-Ning and if they are to be launched in India, they may come around at INR 2,000. We need them to stay fit you see! ;)

5. Mi Water Purifier

Pure water is good for health, and in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai where getting pure drinking water becomes a challenge, this is definitely a game changer. This smart water purifier can be controlled by a smartphone while the purifier itself is pretty portable in size. The Mi Water Purifier uses Reverse Osmosis process to purify water. And, if this gets launched in India, we would get it for around INR 13 - 15,000 and that's not bad when we can have a healthy life. Right?
