BenQ-Siemens has worked on a new design to taste better than the LG Chocolate.

BenQ-Siemens has worked on a new design to taste better than the LG Chocolate. This is a prototype and its possibility to make it to the manufacturing line will remain a question. Till then, we can feel good that this phone resembles the iPod type of body finish and its sleek side-sliding keypad. The side keypad will take a good deal of time getting used to but the rest of the phones features seem to make it an all good package.

The features are a VGA display, 3 megapixel camera, MP3/AAC/WMA/WAV playback, and a microSD slot for memory expandability. The actual status of the phone will be known in 2007 so no details on the pricing and we obviously don't know if it will even be available as it's a prototype.

closure of siemens mobile while true is also pinches and makes me sad.i have never seen similar sturdy phones,with great functionality and yet simple .even nokia cant match

Benq-Siemens has CLOSED- TT should keep its ears open-No More Benq Siemens This pc. of future watch is redundant- In case U missed it- it is---Taiwanese owned BenQ announced that it has ceased funding its German-based mobile-phone subsidiary. Shortly after the announcement, the ex-Siemens affiliate filed for insolvency protection. 2nd Oct, 2006.
