I am residing in India and I want to buy Brand new Samsung Z500 with company warranty. What will be the total cost including shipping charges. Also let me know if u have a money back gaurantee
actually ebay has loop hole in the payment systems. They sometimes charge for sale which did not take place or ask you to buy items you clicked while participating in a goldmine contest...they are working hard though but cannot give justice to cheated buyer or seller...its shortcomings are ignored by govt. due to its future benefits and legal team. though there are good sellers too....with good ratings etc
I once just bought a game CD from a dealer at Hyderabad, and it was a satisfactory deal. But yes there are scamster sitting around what they call phishing, I used to get a few mails like that, and then I reported them to E Bay, nowadays I dont logg on to it very much.
I have been buying things from ebay for last 2 years and have no regrets. I always get best deals that was not possible from open market in Bangalore. Regarding costs even in open market you will find sellers overchanrging for an item the same is the case with ebay. Its consumer who has to be careful when he buys and not get conned. And there are some items that you may not find in open market at all. My experience is ebay is great...
eBay suc** big time!!! I havent sold anything but they are still pestering me to pay up their fees. Even after contacting the Cust. Serv. its of no use. So finally stopped using the cr**(read eBay).
eBay is a nice concept and works well abroad, but eBay in India has lots of scamsters sitting out there to take away your money and give no value- I have burnt my fingers a few times, and now stay away from it- the sellers fool the buyers by consistently making multiple listings, padding their shops by making repeat listing ay higher rates, and prices are generally 10 percent to up to 40 percent higher. Case in point is listing of SE K-750 mobile, available with Bill and 1 year SONY ERICSSON Warranty in open market for less than 13k ( of course without Bill walla is now almost 12k) on eBay India same is listed between 13.5k ( with so called dealer warranty in Yamunanagar ? Ha! ) to 17995 again without any mention of company warranty, they just hook the customer anyways and once sold, there will be no service. Therefore BE AWARE before you venture to make any purchase here.
If you put a costly item on ebay, some anonymous people register and bid on your item. Later when you contact them for payment, there is no response.
However the very next day, ebay will contact you for the payment, they charge 2 percent of total sales figure and you have to pay up. Sometimes it happens that you do not actually sell your item but you have to pay ebay for it.
Some malicious and disgruntled users even say this is a scam and ebay is 'aware' of it.... I think Govt and Consumer Guidance orgs should watch this..
