A phone for youthful people to stay in touch with friends

Siemens Mobile has been striving to make their mobile phones as trendy and fashionable as ever. Their latest offering, the CT66, is aimed at youthful people who love using their phones to stay in touch with friends.

Weighing around 85g, this compact phone offers a variety of communication and entertainment capabilities. The CT66 has a high-resolution 65,536 color screen and an integrated CIF camera (attachable flash sold separately). The phone also has a built-in picture viewer and photo editor applications that allows users to customize or edit the images they have taken. It also features instant messaging so users can remain in touch even in noisy areas where talking is difficult.



Apart from instant messaging the CT66 lets users send voice memos as well as photos, animations and recordable sounds with its Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). Users can also use the phone's IrDA and data synchronization capabilities to share data with friends.

This tri-band phone (850/1800/1900 MHz) features 40-chord polyphonic sound, speakerphone, Java games and joystick menu navigation. The phone has a talk time of up to five hours and a standby time of up to 250 hours.

poor design could have utilized the space above the screen by increasing the height of the screen. most phones are coming with the features mentioned which are very few to create some interest in user's minds.
