The K608 3G UMTS mobile phone widens Sony Ericsson's portfolio of 3G handsets.
The K608 has sleek good looks and an aluminum feel and is easy to use and navigate. The handset when vertical is a phone, and when horizontal is a 1.3 MegaPixel camera.
The K608 is fully featured with a suite of business applications that handle personal information management and PC-synchronization via USB or Bluetooth. The K608 will be commercially available in Q3 2005.
In the S600, voice calls can be made with the phone closed or open. The 1.3 MegaPixel camera can record video clips with 4x zoom and can be sent via MMS or Bluetooth. Sharing, storing and printing pictures is made easy with QuickShare.
The phone also supports instant messaging and POP3/IMAP4 email and will be available at the beginning of the Q4 2005.
The Z520 is aimed at fashion conscious women who want the functionality of an up-to-the-minute device in an appealing, stylish design. The Z520 is a clamshell phone allowing it to fit easily in the hand, pocket or bag.
The J210 incorporates a large keypad with joystick for easy navigation, and a bright 65K color screen. The phone comes in silver or green and practical accessories include the Stereo FM Radio Handsfree HPR-20 and the Portable Handsfree HPS-20. The J210 will be available in the Q3 2005.
The Sony Ericsson GC99 PC card launched today combines Wi-Fi with 3G/UMTS and global quad band GSM/EDGE/GPRS connectivity, providing a variety of network choices in a single, slim PC card, ensuring that workers on the move have access to the fastest data rates and most extensive coverage.
Sony also launched a Bluetooth Headset HBH-610, as well as a Car Handsfree HCB-700 (Bluetooth) and a portable Handsfree HPS-60.
