Leading up to the release of its next spin-off Angry Birds iteration, for which Rovio has tied up with Lucasfilm Ltd, the Finnish company has released the first gameplay video for Angry Birds Star Wars. While the slings are here to stay, the Birds will now fly in Jedi-land and bring out their lightsabres to slay the Bad Piggies!

The video opens with Red (the Red Bird) as Luke Skywalker and Stella (the Pink Bird) as Princess Leia. It gives you a quick overview of what you can expect in the latest version. It does look fun, and we'd like to see what powers each of the Star Wars Birds brings to the game.
