However, while everything is been said about the new initiative, it is worth noting that the Mobile10X is not a funding or incubation platform. Instead, it provides mentorship to app developers.

According to The Economic Times, the programme will be playing an active role in setting up five mobile startup hubs over the next five years and also provide training to five lakh engineering students on mobile OS platforms like Android and iOS.

Speaking about the mobile hubs, it is being said that the first mobile hub has been already setup in Bengaluru while the second one is on its way to be set up in Gurgaon by January 2016.

These mobile hubs will be having testing labs, design labs, capability building and co-working space which the app developers can utilize for free.
