Dell Launches New Voice-Calling Tablet 'Venue 7 3741' At Rs 7,999

While the specifications are not much impressive, a 4,100 mAh battery look great for a budget tablet.

Dell has launched its new device dubbed the Dell Venue 7 3741 under the Venue 7 range of tablets in India.

With a price tag of Rs 7,999, the pocket friendly tablet comes with voice-calling support with single SIM slot and running Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Venue 7 7341 sports a 6.95 inch HD display while being powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z3735G coupled with a 1 GB of DDR3L RAM.

The camera section of the device equips a 2 MP rear camera as well as a VGA front facing camera. However, we feel the camera sensors to be not the best. But, yes, they do come with the tablet.

The Dell Venue 7 3741 comes with 8 GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card and supports 3G connectivity, Micro USB 2.0, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.

The tablet is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery which is not found in many budget tablets including those from Xiaomi and Lenovo.

While the company claims this tablet to be best useful for people who look for high level of performance, we are not able to find any such premium feature which might improve your performance.

However, keeping the price point in mind, it looks to be pretty decent, especially, the battery capacity might be the sole feature which would attract many.
