LG Max With 5 Inch Display Unveiled In India At Rs 10,990

The smartphone comes with some not-so-impressive specs for the given price point.

South Korean company LG Electronics has come up with a new mid-range 3G smartphone dubbed the LG Max priced at Rs 10,990.

Unlike its name, the smartphone does not come with premium specs, but just manages to come with some low-end specs when compared to other devices from Chinese companies like Xiaomi and Huawei which have better specs at more reasonable prices.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the 5 inch smartphone comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded via micro SD card.

The camera section comes with 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera with Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash features.

Also, running on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the smartphone supports HSPA+ networks up to 21 MBPS and has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USB 2.0 while being powered by a 2,540 mAh battery.

It is also being said the LG Max will be available in single/dual SIM variants and in white, titan or gold colour options.

However, as of now, the LG Max is not listed by any e-commerce vendor, but we assume that the company will roll out the smartphone through online and offline retails channels soon.

While Xiaomi, Huawei and other Chinese smartphone companies have better smartphones under Rs 10,000 price range, we still no have clue as to who would be actually purchasing the device.

Apparently, we expect it to be a really tough situation for the LG Max device to sustain for long in the current smartphone industry.
