OnePlus 2 Smartphone Revealed Ahead Of Launch

The device looks similar to the OnePlus One apart from the new physical home button.

After tasting success with OnePlus One, the Chinese smartphone company is hoping it can have a similar or more thundering response for its OnePlus 2 which is all set to be launched on July 28.

Considering this, we have been witnessing quite a few leaks and rumours about the OnePlus 2 device along with some news and hints put out by the company itself.

However, we had no clue as to how the smartphone might look. Breaking this suspense, Chinese wireless regulator TENAA has recently published pictures of the device which looks similar to the OnePlus One but with a new physical home button.

Also, TENAA has not mentioned the model name and other details pertaining to the phone, but with the OnePlus logo in the rear and looking similar to the OnePlus One, it is certainly the OnePlus 2.

To add more, the new physical home button may be the device's fingerprint scanner which was announced by OnePlus last month claiming the technology to be faster than that of the iPhone's TouchID system.

Quickly brushing up what we know about the upcoming device, we can say that we actually know quite a lot about the OnePlus 2. The smartphone will be equipped with a 4 GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 processor, reversible USB Type-C connector, Fingerprint scanner and two SIM card slots.

Considering the price point, recently, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also tweeted confirming that the OnePlus 2 would be priced under $450.

However, the launch event is nearing and the VR Headsets are ready. Now, we just have to wait and watch.

Just in case if you were unaware, OnePlus recently opened 9 new service centres across India to provide better after-sales services to its customers in India.
