TrueCaller Launches Truemessenger In India To Make SMS Smarter And Less Spammy

The new app works almost similar to the popular Truecaller app.

 

Truecaller which is known to block and segregate the unknown an spam calls, is now planning somewhat similar with SMS.

The Swedish company has recently come up with a new app dubbed 'Truemessenger' which aims to make SMS smarter.

In case if you are wondering, the new app identifies the unknown sender of the SMS and also taps in to its spam database to weed out messages from numbers that have been identified as a nuisance by other users.

You can also tag a number as spam and spam messages are all collected in a separate folder thereby avoiding clutter.

It is also being said that if an unknown number has been identified, the app will assign it photos and other such information with the help of your Facebook account.

Interestingly, for now, Truemessenger is available only in India and is soon expected to expand to other countries.

If you are an Android user, you can download it from here. However, the app is not yet available for iOS and Windows Phone users.
