Snapchat Brings New Features With Its Latest Update To Android & iOS Devices

Most notably, the latest update replaces tap-and-hold with much easier tap-and-view feature.

The popular messaging app has recently announced in its official blog that it has come up with a latest update which actually allows its users to tap and view the story instead of holding down the finger.

Adding more in to this, Snapchat has replaced its existing tap-and-hold preview feature with more simple tap-and-view in its latest update for Android and iOS devices.

This replacement marks a pretty big change for Snapchat and this change seems to be a necessary step as it would be tiresome for thumbs while watching a several-hundred-second story.

Along with this, the new update seems to brought in an additional feature where users can make friends using 'Add Nearby'.

It is a quick way to add a group of friends provided that they also have the Add Nearby option opened at the same time.

The list of new features doesn't end there. The Snapcode now allows users to add a selfie to the center so that friends can recognize easily.

Lastly, the popular app maker has rolled out two-factor authentication with this latest update in order to improve the Snapchat security giving the bad guys a much harder time if they try to hack into your account.
