Sony Xperia Z3+ To Be Unveiled On The 26th Of June In India

Sony’s hot-headed flagship is finally coming to India.

News is that the much-talked about, Sony Xperia Z3+ could be announced for the Indian market on the 26th of June. While Sony has begun sending out invites, it isn’t quite clear about what the Japanese giant is going to launch.

The invite simple asks the media to block their dates for the day, for something big is coming. While we cannot tell for sure what the event in New Delhi is about our guesses are on the recently announced Xperia Z3+ since the Xperia M4 Aqua and the selfie-crazed Xperia C4 are already out on sale.

Another clue is the fact that the date for the event happens to be exactly a month after the original announcement of the global smartphone. So there are indeed more reasons than one to believe that the launch is going to take place on that day.

Sony’s Xperia Z4 (the Z3+’s Japanese sibling) is facing a lot of criticism from early adopters in Japan for its overheating problem, that makes the handset too hot to hold. Gaming aside, there have been reports that apps shut down as well, if they tend to heat up the processor. Still then, Sony is busy trying to push out a software fix for the same, one that is expected in a few weeks from now.

Hopefully, the same gets ready before the launch, as Sony fans have been waiting for long for a flagship like this, especially considering the hits and misses that this year has seen. Currently the LG G Flex 2 is the only smartphone available for purchase in India which sports the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.
