Google Play Introduces Pre-Registration Feature For Apps

The first app available for pre-registration is Terminator Genisys: Revolution.

Google is known for its new features making its users' life more simple every time.

The internet giant has recently come up with a new feature where it actually informs users about the arrival of a new app on Google Play.

Well, don't worry. This simply doesn't mean that Google keeps on sending you emails about new apps every now and then.

This actually means that Google Play has come up with a Pre-Registration option for its users who have always waited for a particular app but are clueless about its availability and other details.

To add more about this, we can say that, once you pre-register for an app, you will get a notification on your device the minute the app goes live. There is also an option to unregister from the alerts.

However, this new feature does not only help the users know about the availability of a particular app they are interested in, but also help the app makers in tracking early interest and directly notifying the user about the app without extra efforts from the developers.

It is worth noting here that "Terminator Genisys Revolution" is the first app to be available for pre-register on Google Play.

It surely looks like Google is aiming at two birds with one stone.
