Micromax Launches Canvas Play With Android Lollipop OS

The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch screen best suited for watching videos and playing games.

 

After launching the Canvas Spark, Micromax seems to be ready to launch yet another smartphone run on Android Lollipop OS.

Dubbed as the Canvas Play, the device with 5.5 inch display screen has been displayed on the company's website.

The company seems to be claiming that the users can get a bigger picture with the smartphone's big screen. Well, to add in more to this, the 2820 mAh is expected to make sure your movie watching without any interruptions.

The screen resolution 480*854 seems to be not really suitable to video watching or gaming sessions.

However, moving on to other specifications of the smartphone, it comes with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage space and 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. But, we can expect only upto 3.60 GB of space for apps and mass storage which is quite less. But, you can always expand it using a microSD card.

The smartphone supports 3G connectivity and comes with a 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera which seems to be of a not so good quality.

With everything being said, there still seems to be no official word on the release date. Yet, there is a posting on the popular ecommerce website eBay which lists the smartphone at Rs 7,490.
