Spice Mobile Unveils Octa-core Stellar 526n Smartphone

The device's rear camera comes with Clear Motion technology for better HD quality videos.

 

Spice has come up with a new Stellar-series smartphone dubbed as the Stellar 526n Octa priced at Rs 7,999.

The smartphone is actually an octa-core version of the company's original Spice Stellar 526.

With sleek metallic finish, the new octa version of the Spice Stellar 526n comes with a 5-inch HD display powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor with 1 GB of RAM.

The device has internal memory of 8 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot.

With an 8 MP autofocus rear camera, the device is able to record HD video and the front snapper is of 3.2 MP capacity.

The smartphone is backed by a 2500 mAh battery which the company claims to deliver 280 hours of standby time.

Also, the connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, 3G and microUSB.

However, the device seems to be running the more common Android 4.4 KitKat which makes it run a little behind among many other latest smartphones coming up with Android Lollipop.

The phone is available in White and Pebble Blue colour variants.

Keeping the specifications and price in mind, we can pretty much conclude that the phone directly competes with budget devices like the Lava Iris X8, Intex Aqua Power and Xiaomi Redmi 2.

The smartphone is available via ecommerce retailer Saholic.com as well as major retail and Spice HotSpot stores in India.
