Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 Rolls Out In India

The update seems to bring in changes mainly on the smartphones' settings interface.

 

Microsoft has recently started rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 which brings with it a few new features to the platform.

It is believed that the new features that come the update mainly relate to the smartphones' settings interface.

It is learnt that the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 puts categories type of user interface in the settings menu.

The update also brings the option to pin individual settings on the home screen.

However, it is worth noting that these features were previously available for the Windows Phone handsets but via third-party apps.

The latest update seems to bring in support for Bluetooth keyboard too along with the introduction of the "Quick Text" feature.

The "quick text" feature is nothing but a set of pre-defined phrases users can bring up on the keyboard to send as a quick response.

However, there seems to be no further details about the update and what more changes the update will bring in to the smartphones.
