Fly Mobile Launches Three Budget Smartphones On Snapdeal

Fly re-enters the Indian mobile market after a long gap with its Qik, Qik+ and Snap mobile phones.

Fly Mobile has officially launched three basic smartphones in India exclusively through Snapdeal for under Rs. 7,000.

It seems that the new handsets range from entry-level to mid-end options with Qik priced at Rs. 5,999, Qik+ at Rs. 6,999 and Fly Snap at Rs. 2,999.

This basically marks the re-entry of the UK-based company into the Indian smartphone market, which has been absent for quite a long time. Certainly, there’s a lot of competition the new handsets will have to face, but they do seem capable. The Fly Snap being the cheapest of the three also offers basic Android experience.

Fly seems to have made up its mind to re-enter the Indian market with some great features at such lower prices.

The phones under the Qik series are powered by 1.7GHz octa-core processors and run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which the company has promised to update to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Features like dual-SIM support with HSPA, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper are also onboard, making the device a great pick for what it’s selling at. Additionally, the Snap also comes with a 1500mAh battery, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage.

The Fly Mobile Qik+, Qik and Snap smartphones are already available for purchase through Snapdeal which is the exclusive retailer.
