XOLO's Windows Phone 8.1-Powered Win Q1000 Surfaces Online

Windows Phone part deux indeed.

XOLO is a manufacturer that is often linked to the Android space. While the smartphone manufacturer has indeed made it mark in the Indian smartphone market, its Windows Phone offerings seem to be rather scanty at best with the XOLO Win Q900s.

To counter this XOLO has today, unveiled its newest offering in the Windows Phone department called the Win Q1000 and it comes with some impressive hardware as well. The handset made its appearance on the company’s website although XOLO has been pretty quiet about the same.

One look at the XOLO Win Q1000 and you can tell that it is basically a re-branded BLU Win HD smartphone. Everything from the design to the internals are pretty-much identical.

Now that we have cleared that, its time to move on to the specs of this budget smartphone:

  • We get a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixel) display
  • Inside there is a 1.2 GHz, quad-core MSM 8212 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM
  • The memory department consist of 8 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 128 GB with a micro SD card
  • There is an 8 MP camera on the back, while the front-facing unit is 2 MP one
  • Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0
  • The device runs Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by a 2200 mAh battery

The XOLO Win Q1000 will retail at Rs 8499 but no details about availability have been announced just yet.
