Intex Launches Two Entry-Level Devices

Home grown manufacturer Intex has been trying to make a dent in the smartphone market and expanding its offerings further, it has launched two new entry-level smartphones Intex Aqua Eco and Aqua Y3.

The devices are priced at Rs. 3,650 and Rs. 4,490 and the company may have set eyes on the first-time smartphone users. The company has listed the phones on its website, but there is no word on the availability yet.

The Intex Aqua Eco features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with a 480x800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 512MB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It sports a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper.

The Intex Aqua Y3 smartphone on the other hand features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 480x854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz single core MediaTek processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The dual-SIM Aqua Y3 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.
