Leaked: Samsung Note 3 Android Lollipop ROM Can Now Be Downloaded

Samsung has yet to inform owners about the status of its Android Lollipop update.

While every other big player in the Android devices market has informed and promised its users that the next big Android Lollipop update will be arriving early next year, Samsung still remains mum on the topic. HTC, Sony, Motorola and even LG have been busy working on their smartphone firmwares since the announcement of Google’s next big jump with Android, Lollipop, but it seems that Samsung is either not prepared or has no intentions of giving a timeline to be on the safe side.

Well good news this time around comes for owners of the Samsung GALAXY Note 3. A new ROM has leaked out with Android version 5.0 inside and is now also available for download (illegally of course). The ROM is complete and comes with all the the features from Android Lollipop including touches of Samsung’s TouchWiz layer all over the place.

The hefty update tagged as SM-N9005 (N9505XXUGBNL8) weighs in at 1.1 GB and you will have to use a flash tool to get it onto your GALAXY Note 3. While there are plenty who have been dying to upgrade to Android Lollipop, we at Techtree would suggest you stay put, until the official version comes out to avoid any damage to your smartphone. For those of you who love to experiment and know about the risks involved, you can click on the source link for more information.

We have off late seen a number of Android Lollipop ROMs for different Samsung devices show up online. Indeed goes to show that the Korean company is hard at work building them. Only questions is when will they be out and available?
