HTC Desire 620 And Desire 620G Launched In Taiwan

There is very little to differentiate two phones in external design, but differ a lot internally.

 

Looking get back into the mid-range segment, HTC has launched identical looking dual SIM handsets Desire 620 and its cousin 620G in Taiwan on Monday.

While there is very little to differentiate the two models in the design, there is a couple differences internally, which makes the Desire 620 costlier of the two models.

According to EPrice Taiwan, the mid-range HTC Desire 620 will cost TWD $6990 in Taiwan (about Rs 14000), whereas the 620G variant will have its price set at TWD $4990 (about RS 10000). There’s no word on when these two will be made available in other markets.

The HTC Desire 620 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset with LTE support, the 620G model has a MediaTek MTK MT6592 SoC with 3G compatibility. The major difference between the two is that the former’s has an expanded storage capacity of 128GB, the latter will only 32GB.

On the exterior both the phones are similar with a 5-inch display with 720p HD. The devices have a 1GB of RAM and internal memory of 8GB, with a 2100mAh battery.

The smartphones house an 8MP main camera with 1080p video support on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera.
