Rumour: Samsung GALAXY A5 To Launch By November

For the first time we have some news about the GALAXY A7 as well.

 

We have clearly had too much news about the Samsung GALAXY A series of smartphones that will bring quality construction and decent performance to Samsung's mid range. The handsets that we know about consist of the A3, A5 and the A7. While we have seen the first two leak out in the past, we have never had a single bit of information about the A7. Well, news is that not only will the A5 reach markets by November this year but that the A7 is said to sport a 5.5 inch Full HD display in some markets as well.

While we have had our fair share of GALAXY A5 leaks till now, we had no idea when the smartphone would be launching. Well, we finally have a heads up from SamMobile that the GALAXY A5 will be out in certain markets by November. The price tag as reported earlier would hover around 400-450 USD with the announcement happening sometime this month.

Clearly the A series of handsets are mid-range devices so the A7 may actually come close to competing with the GALAXY Alpha in terms of specs. The latest update tells us that the A7 will sport 5.5 inch Full HD display but again, that would only be for certain markets. These of course would include the markets that will not be getting the Alpha. Makes sense since Samsung would not want Alpha buyers heading for the a mid-range Full HD A7 as it would kill the sales of its premium smartphone.

Again, the Alpha is a more powerful device, with a top-of-the-line processor and display combination, that will allow it to deliver. Full HD and Quad HD displays do slow smartphones down and this is visible even more with performance issues that are showing up in Samsung’s very own Note 4. Overkill is something that clearly does not work well in the world of smartphones.
