Apple iPhone 6 Specs Revealed; Expect A Water And Dust Resistant Body

The company seems to have worked very hard to catch up with its competitors this time around.

The last time around China Telecom mistakenly put up a post, it actually revealed what the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 would look like. This time around China Mobile decided that it is high time, that they did something as well. The state-owned carrier has revealed the hardware specs of the 4.7 inch model of the iPhone 6; seems like being the world’s largest mobile phone operator was simply not enough. The telecom company may have wanted to hog up on some more customers before the show begins a few hours from now.

Indeed the specs coming from a telecom giant like this indeed adds to the credibility of the leak. As the specs go, the 4.7 inch model of the iPhone 6 will as expected come with the all new Apple A8 chip which has now moved on to a quad-core set up. The display as we all know by now will be a 4.7 inch one but as revealed will come with 1134 x 750 pixel resolution and will be protected by a layer of sapphire-coated glass.

What is surprising from the leaked specs is that the Cupertino tech giant will pack in the same old 8 MP sensor once again but will bump up the specs for the front facing camera to 2.1 MP (so you can expect Full HD up front as well).

We have no clue once again whether the protruding camera has gone or has Apple decided to retain it, since the dimensions measure 138mm x 67mm x 7mm. What China Mobile has actually revealed is that the iPhone 6 will feature dust and water resistance; a feature that many Android smartphone manufacturers have adopted after Sony.

Lastly the 4.6 inch version of the iPhone, says China Mobile will come in four memory capacities of 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB. Indeed Apple seems to targeting every Android user out there with plenty of options from bigger screen sizes to larger memory capacities without going overboard with the specs. Will it all work when put together? Well, we will find out a few hours from now.
