Fruit Ninja On Your Smartphone With A Knife? Its Possible

One of the few things we would not suggest you to try out on your smartphone.

Smartphone, check. Fruit Ninja installed on it, check. Quality kitchen-knife, check. Yes that is exactly how a reviewer played it while recording the same on YouTube. He actually uses a kitchen knife to test out the quality Gorilla Glass 3 display that comes installed on the Lumia 930, which has just been launched worldwide.

Coming from Nokia, we can assure you that this will be a high-quality smartphone that was clearly built to withstand the daily bumps and scratches from the keys in your pocket. Well, ‘adriansen’ decided to take things to the limit and actually play a game with a knife on the super sensitive display of a black Nokia Lumia 930.

As its turns out there are no visible scratches on the display. And it is interesting to note that the handset actaully picks up touches from the knife’s edge. Indeed Corning’s offering is doing the trick and will hold up to some pretty brutal torture. What most smartphone displays still cannot withstand however, is a drop. Hopefully the upcoming iPhone 6’s sapphire coated glass brings in new standards that everyone will soon be able to enjoy.
