Oppo Slashes Prices Of Its N1 and R1 Smartphones In India

While the company did not say why it was cutting prices, we think it has to do with the launch of the Find 7 and 7a.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has announced a reduction in the price of its N1 and R1 smartphones in India. The company has slashed rates of the N1 by Rs 5,000 and it now costs Rs 32,990 while the R1's price was reduced by Rs 2,000, bringing its price down to Rs 24,990.

This is the second time Oppo is revising the price of its N1 smartphone in India, which was launched in January at a cost of Rs 39,990. While the company did not credit the drop in price to a specific reason, it should be noted that Oppo recently launched its Find 7 and 7a smartphones in India priced at Rs 37,990 & Rs 31,990 respectively.
