Image Of The iPhone 6 Shell Leaks; Shows The Cut Out Apple Logo

Logo cut out may house a notification LED on the back.

An image of the actual iPhone 6’s back shell has finally surfaced online thanks to the guys at MacFixit. The shell clearly shows the two holes (and an additional tiny one) for the camera and LED flash set up. Apart from this the panel clearly shows the breaks for the antenna which is pretty much similar to the back of the recently launched HTC One M8.

The mysterious cut out which also showed up in the CAD design renders that had leaked earlier could possibly host a notifications LED which is a growing trend among iPhone modders.  May be Apple finally came up with the idea of a notifications LED which would be similar to its MacBook line up with a glowing Apple logo at the back.

Strangely the camera set up includes space only for one LED which is odd considering that the dual-tone LED flash did wonders in balancing bad lighting conditions for the iPhone 5s. The green coating is just a layer of plastic (no Apple is not going the 5c way again) and will obviously be peeled off with the aluminium shining below.

Lastly, MacFixit also revealed that the shell is apparently a part of the 4.7 inch variant and that there also exists a bigger 5.5 inch one. Fancy a bigger iPhone? Tell us in the comments below.
