Sony Brings Premium Design And Performance To Its Mid-Segment With The Xperia M2 Dual

An OmniBalance design coupled with stunning processor performance makes the M2 Dual a good choice in the mid-range.

Sony finally launched the Xperia M2 Dual; a smartphone with a premium design and a lower price tag, adding to its mid segment line-up of devices. The Xperia M2 Dual been designed to bring the premium Sony experience to its mid-segment, giving buyers more value for less.

The device comes with the stunning and still fresh, OmniBalance design theme which Sony seems to be applying to all its devices lately. But the Xperia M2 Dual, is not only about quality design. Inside there is a brisk 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 coupled with a decent 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage which is expandable.

On the outside is a large 4.8 inch display of qHD (960 x 540 pixel) resolution which thanks to its fewer pixels, will give performance a boost when it comes to running apps and even gaming. The handset sports a 8 MP shooter on the back with a tiny 0.3 MP camera on the front for all those video calls and selfies. Powering all of above is a 2300 mAh battery unit which even with its dual-standby mode should keep handset running for a day.

The Sony Xperia M2 was launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year and India seems to have received only the dual SIM variant. The handset comes in Purple, White and Black and will go on sale for Rs 21,990 on the 25th of April, 2014.
