More Pictures Of Sony's Upcoming D6503 Sirius Spotted Online

Rumoured to launch at the MWC, this handset could sport a 5.2-inch display.

 

It’s just a week to the the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where many flagship handset will be revealed. Will Sony hold back? We don’t think so! There have been plenty of leaks so far about the rumoured Sirius or the Sony D6503. Now recently, someone at the Chinese forum Digi-wo has posted more pictures of the upcoming handset. Going by the images, it seems that Sony has made another hardware upgrade.

There have been two leaked images from the Chinese website. The first one shows the new Sirius in black and white, proudly displaying the stereo speakers at the top and bottom of the display. The next notable visual cues are the reduced horizontal bezels. The second image shows the Sirius alongside the older flagships — the Xperia Z and Z1. It's quite evident that the upcoming phone has a slightly taller display compared to the older Xperia Z1.

Let’s hope that this is indeed a Quad HD panel, else being a display maker, manufacturers like Samsung and Apple will most definitely leave them in the dust with their rumoured Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixel) cell phone panels.
