Samsung Unveils A Watered-Down GALAXY Note 3

Dubbed as Note 3 Neo, the handset will hit the markets within next couple of months.

Love the GALAXY Note 3, but it is still out of your budget? There's a good news for you, as a watered-down version of Samsung’s best-selling "phablet" is on its way. According to Samsung Polska (Poland), the Galaxy Note 3 Neo sporting a relatively slower processor and a screen that packs in less pixels than the original Note 3. To be precise, the Neo offers a 720p AMOLED panel compared as opposed to Note 3's 1080p one. While the processor has been toned-down to a hale and hearty 1.6 Ghz from a 1.9 Ghz Quad Core, the phone still maintains some of the flagship features of the Note family — Easy Clip, Air Command, and S Pen functionality. The phone sports an 8 megapixel unit with a BSI sensor. All-in-all, the Neo will best the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2.

There is currently no news about the Neo launching in India, but the global roll-out is expected to start in Q1 2014. The available colours are black, white, and green.
