Nokia Unveils NFC-Enabled Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headsets

Available in "Lumia" colours, the device has been priced at €39.

Those who didn’t appreciate the over-grown and hideous Bluetooth on-ear headset, take note. Nokia has unveiled the BH-121; to add to its Bluetooth Stereo Headset line up. Available in Lumia colours cyan, red, yellow, and black, the Bluetooth-cum-NFC compliant headset packs in noise blocking in-ear headphones (WH-208). If you prefer any other earphones, then you can attach it to the 3.5mm audio jack of the "tile design" device that can be clipped on using a secure clip.

While the one button lets you answer calls and switch between music, other controls to toggle volume, Bluetooth, and track control buttons have been placed around the device's edges for quick access. The headset is NFC-enabled with multi-point support so you can connect two NFC-compliant devices to the headset at once. If your device doesn't support NFC, you can still turn back to good 'ol Bluetooth.

The headset also sports a battery-life indicator LED, but if you own a Lumia device, life can be easier, as you can pin the device on the Start screen with its very own Live tile. The BH-121 has been priced at €39 (Rs 3300) and will begin retailing later this month. Nokia hasn’t clarified which countries it will sell in though. We will keep you posted about its India launch.
