Gionee Announces Pioneer P3 Smartphone

Dual-SIM handset packs in 512 MB RAM and 1.3 GHz quad-core processor for Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

 

Gionee has announced its latest P3 smartphone in India. The handset sports a 4.3" capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, along with a VGA front camera. Additional camera features include gesture recognition, face detection, smile detection, geo-tagging, eraser functioning, panoramic view, and touch-to-focus. The dual-SIM, dual standby smartphone is supported by 1700 mAh battery.

P3 supports face unlocking and guest mode for extra security. The phone comes with an inbuilt video player that supports multiple formats in full screen. You can control volume and brightness by vertical movement of finger on screen. It packs in 4 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM, and microSD card support for up to 32 GB. Pioneer P3 also supports OTA (Over the Air) software upgrades.

Gionee P3 will be available in Black and White colours, with a price tag of Rs 7500.
