Now, Al Gore Confirms Multiple iPhones

Former Vice President's comments carry more weight because he is a board member.

 

Al Gore, former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the United States, and current member of the Board of Directors of Apple Inc, has confirmed that new iPhones will be released in October. The use of the plural form of the iPhone has led to heated speculations that more than one devices will be launched.

Speaking at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit, Gore commented, "Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month. That was a plug". He refused to elaborate further, keeping the question hanging as to whether he blundered or was it an intentional plug. The fact that he is a respectable personality with the insider know-how about Apple's plans add more credibility to his comments than being addressed as a simple rumour. It has been reported that the next generation iPhone will be launched next month, but there has been debate about it being named the iPhone 4s or the iPhone 5. If Mr Gore's comments are to be taken seriously, then we may as well be getting both of the above. Apple continues to maintain radio-silence about the launch as is its usual policy.
