Karbonn's First Full-HD Smartphone Titanium S7 Up For Pre-Order

The 5-incher boasts of a quad-core CPU and 13 MP camera.

Karbonn, the Indian smartphone-maker that competes with Micromax in the domestic market, has added another phone to its Titanium series. Dubbed S7, this phone is powered by a quad-core chipset (most likely sourced from MediaTek). To compete with Micromax's latest Turbo, the Titanium S7 comes with a full-HD (1080p) screen.

To take care of photography, the S7 packs in a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash. There's no word on its RAM, but you can expect it to be 1 GB. Apart from that, you get a standard set of features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and NFC. The phone is 3G enabled, and comes with dual-SIM support. The phone will run Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.

The Titanium S7 hasn't been officially announced by the company. It's currently available for pre-order on Flipkart.com at a price tag of Rs 15,000. Considering the similarly priced Canvas Turbo sells for around Rs 18,700, you can say that the S7 has been priced sensibly, and is arguably the cheapest Android handset in India with a full-HD screen.
