Instagram Finally Shows Some Love For Windows Phone

For Microsoft's mobile platform, it's "Better late than never".

The most awaited Windows Phone app, Instagram, has finally landed on Microsoft's mobile platform. The app already boasts of well over 150 million users from Android and iOS camp. Instagram is ideal for turning your sharp photographs with accurate colours into blurry pics with messy colours. Besides that, you can share these 'pieces of art' with others over Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Foursquare, and among Instagram community. It's mostly used for taking awkward artistic selfies and lunch snaps.

The app enables you to degrade enhance the photographs using filters like: XPro-II, Earlybird, Rise, Amaro, Hudson, Lo-fi, Sutro, Toaster, Brannan, Inkwell, Walden, Hefe, Nashville, and 1977. Moreover, you make use of Linear and Radial Tilt-Shift blur effects for extra depth of field. On WP platform, the app supports both the rear and front-facing cameras. The app is in Beta stage, and currently lacks video recording feature. So if you're looking for a fully-functional Instagram app on WP8 OS, Rudy Huyn's third-party client 6tag is your best bet.
