Gmail Expands Its Quick Action Functionality To Dropbox, Vimeo, And More

Will allow you to sync Gmail with a bunch of third-party services.

For those of you who manage their personal and professional lives via email (Gmail specifically), have a small reason to celebrate. The search giant has decided to extend "quick action" service from the Google Calendar service, to add more websites that you earmark as important. The rollout, which is expected to take a few weeks to reach all users, will let you sync Gmail with services such as Dropbox , Google Docs, Sheets, Vimeo, YouTube, Slides, etc with relative ease, Google posted on its official blog.

As per its developer blog, the current Schema.org supports following actions:

  • RSVP Action for events.
  • Review Action for restaurants, movies, products and services.
  • One-click Action for just about anything that can be performed with a single click.
  • Go-to Action for more complex interactions.
  • Flight interactive cards.
