Twitter Turns To Android Users For Feedback

Flags off the Twitter for Android Experiment Alpha Program to test its latest offering.

In a bid to offer the best Twitter experience on the Android platform, the microblogging service has turned to Android users for help and support. The company has flagged off the "Twitter for Android Experiment Alpha Program", wherein select Android users will get access to "experimental versions of the Twitter for Android app", which will obviously be confidential, and users will not be paid to be a part of the exercise. In an official statement, Twitter also specified that the users can pull back at any given time.

The company further specified through a closed Twitter for Android Experiment Google Group, as reported by Mashable: "The versions of the app in the Alpha Program contain more and earlier iterations of experiments and, as a result, could be less stable than the releases in the Android Experiment Program". So you can expect a lot of crashes, missing tweets, or even message leaks. Since this program is on a "first come first served basis", if you want to sign up, you need to hurry up!
