Television seems to be big these days; everyone from Facebook to Google seems to wanting a piece of all the gossip. After all shows such as "Bigg Boss" and others thrive on word of mouth and cheap thrills as is. Twitter also sees quite a lot of traction around TV shows, but all of these are public conversations. If you are looking at having more interesting talks with people who enjoy shows as much as you do, you can turn to iCouchApp.

The social media service offers special show-specific chat rooms, which will go live at the shows airtime. While the makers have partnered with a few shows such as Ancient Aliens on History TV18, Zee ETC, Splitsvilla on MTV; and you can also chat along with the airing of KBC, Bigg Boss, they promise more is on the way. All you need to do is download the app, register with your phone number (like WhatsApp perhaps?) and wait for your show to begin. Once it's on TV; the chat room opens and you can chat with your friends, and even celebs.

An iOS version is reportedly in the works, until then this one is available only for Android users.
