Samsung Tries To Woo Kiddies With The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids

The yellow-hued Android 4.1 slate will pack in a special Kid’s Store for children-centric apps.

After bringing out multiple variants on the GALAXY Tab 3, Samsung has announced the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. The slate is said to be "built specifically for kids with the educational tools and safety features parents want", as mentioned in the official release. The slate doesn't seem to have access to the complete Google Play store, but the press release mentions it will. It will also feature a "new Kid’s Store" with a Time Management feature with which parents can set usage limits on the tab. Once the period elapses, the screen gets locked needing a password to unlock the device. The tab will also be preloaded with educational, games, entertainment, and e-book apps. It will also support the C Pen that will let your kid draw on the tab.
