Fujifilm Brings Compact DSLR XM1, Expands With Lenses And Accessories

Fujifilm expands its compact DSLR lineup and adds XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake lens.

 

Digital photography is undergoing a bit of change and for the good. More and more companies are coming up with DSLR sized APS-C sensors in smaller, lighter compact bodies, and this time it's Fujifilm.

Fujifilm has brought the X-M1 to India, which has a 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS Sensor for sharp pictures (same as X-Pro 1), speedy EXR Processor II, tiltable 3-inch LCD for convenient shots, Wireless image transfer with Wi-Fi, and Full HD recording. The standard kit lens is the FUJINON XC 16-50mm (F3.5-5.6) with Optical image stabilisation. The camera is priced at Rs 48,000 MRP, while the body only costs Rs 43,000 MRP.

Fujifilm has further expanded its compact DSLR line up with X mount lenses with the high-end, high performance FUJINON XF27mm (F2.8) priced at Rs 32,000 MRP available in Black and Silver.

Accessories launched include genuine Leather Case for the XM1, Hand Grip, and Clip-on Flash available in three types for flash photography.
