Sony RX-100 II - Compact Outside, Big Inside Camera Arrives In India

Sony launches Cyber-shot RX100 II for Rs.43,000.

 

It’s said, “Big things come in small packages” and this is true of Sony’s RX-100 compact camera series. They took it upon themselves to improve upon the RX-100 with more than a can of fresh paint.

The RX-100 II uses the same 1 inch sensor like its predecessor, but this time it comes with a new back-illuminated 20 megapixel sensor to allow better low light photography and multi-Interface hot shoe/terminal for a wide variety of external flash and accessories. The rear screen now tilts up and down for more flexible use while costing Rs 10,000 more than current gen RX-100 at Rs 43,000.

The Full HD camera also flaunts a lot of useful features such as Wi-Fi for easy photos or videos sharing and NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for One-touch connection with Android smartphones and tablets.
